HEI-Blue BOOTCAMP in Mauritius
A selected group of students from partner universities across the South-West Indian Ocean will take part in a one-week onsite HEI-BLUE Bootcamp, hosted in Mauritius from 20–24 April 2026 and coordinated by CBOI.
The bootcamp will feature interactive workshops led by specialised trainers and mentors, focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship in the Blue Economy with potential for social impact in the SWIO region.
Through sessions on design thinking, problem-based learning, and product and service design, participants will explore creative solutions to regional challenges and form teams to continue into the mentoring phase.

HEI-BLUE is launching its first Blue Accelerator Bootcamp in Mauritius from 20 to 24 April 2026, bringing together 28 talented students from South-West Indian Ocean partner universities to develop innovative Blue Economy solutions with real social impact in the region.
The upcoming HEI-BLUE Bootcamp will serve as a practical platform to further refine and accelerate these initiatives, supporting their transformation from early concepts into viable market-ready innovations.
